The Research and Development department is comprised of scientists working in the fields of drug delivery/formulation development, analytical development, and biopharmaceutics. These scientists work collaboratively to develop specialized and proprietary drug delivery technologies which are applied to the formulation of generic and branded pharmaceutical products.
The company has an aggressive product development pipeline including new drug applications (“NDAs”), 505(b)(2) applications, and abbreviated new drug applications (“ANDAs”) with over a dozen products in various stages of development. Castun’s product development initiatives are led by its in-house team of drug development experts.
